「決められる人」は結局強いのだろうと思う。

状況が煮えると、負けられない人、今まで何かを積んできた人は、決断によってそれを失うことを恐れるようになる。まじめで優秀で、勉強して、いい大学といい経歴を積んで、決断が必要な場に対峙して、もうそこで動けなくなる。そこにいる誰もが、改革の意志、誰かの行動に賛同する意志だけ示して、自ら決断することはなく、誰かが動いてくれないかな、とひたすら願うようになる。

誰も決断したくない、誰かが決断してくれるのを待ってるような状況で、「俺はこう思うぞ！責任を取るぞ！お前は反対するのなら、そのときは責任が取れるのか！」なんて大声で騒ぐ人の意見は、どれだけそれが無茶であっても、結局それが通ることになる。反対側の人たちは、誰も決断できないのだから。
